Multicultural and "Melting Pot"
Ooh...the sand box. Anyways, I'm don't mean to insult any countries or anything (if you feel insulted, I apologize about this) but why is Canada mostly multicultural while the U.S. are just trying to get people to blend in with their culture? I don't really understand that reason since there's really nothing wrong with keeping your cultural backgrounds and traditions. Do the U.S. have a problem with being multicultural or is there another reason for them to do so? Does anybody know why or what are your thoughts on this

I think it is not the country that are trying to do what you have said but the people. A lot of people in the U.S. believe in patriotism and we are not as great as the U.S. (not to offend anyone). I mean they are the most wealthiest we should they be proud of themselves. Canada is underpopulated compare to the whole world and we have no choose but to make it multi-cultural. Well, each party (Republican, Democrats, Liberal and conservative) each have different view and I think we have more of a Liberal view than America.

I think you need a "Social Issues" forum for this sort of topic.

When you say you need a different or more issues, please post on the issues request forum so I can clearly see the request because when we have a lot of people, things are going to be hard to find.
