North American Union

Bush, Mexican president and Canadian prime minister have a plan to join Canada, US and Mexico into a North American Union. What do you think about it?

I think it's fine. If they can work together well like how the French and the British in Canada (modern world) then I guess so.

By the way it means that the borders between those country are going to be erased, so people can enter and exit freely.

I know, and I really don't have a problem with that (no offense to some, but I think it would be weird seeing Spanish, French, English, and Mexican people everywhere you go, since that is a lot of cultural backgrounds altogether).

Well, in Canada, We see alot of different people don't we?

Well, yeah. But we would see more (a lot more) people of different cultural backgrounds if the union does happen.

I think we only get more Americans.

Anyways, I still can't really imagine different kinds of people walking around here casually. Canada already has included a lot of different cultures and combining with more Americans, Spanish, and Mexicans? I don't know...

I think that most Mexican are only going to go to the US.

But with the union, there will only be one America. The borders will disappear and different kinds of people can be seen more often.

Not in Canada anyway. Beside, if the Union happens, Minutemen will try to stop the Mexican from crossing.

Union with Mexico and the minutemen stopping the Mexicans from crossing the border? Doesn't really make sense and there will be no border, as you have pointed that out...

There will be no border but there is going to be fences build by some average Joe and alot of angry Americans with guns.

Actually, the people of America, Canada and Mexico never agreed to this. Only the ones with power.

But if people don't agree to it, they can't unite it, even though it's the people with power.

Actually they can. President hold the power of a whole nation.

People either be enraged or they'll think of a way to prevent it somehow (murdering them lol. Just a suggestion).

They can't rebel. The president has too many protections.

But still, people won't be happy about it then.

You know what? People aren't happy about this, there is protest against it in the US.
