True, but it teach us a lesson.

Lesson? In conserving? Well that's true. Every kind of resource has to be conserved. And it will also teach us that we can't just randomly spend any kind of natural resource (more of wasting is what I mean).

I'm thinking that this issue may lead to war.

Well, if the nations see it as a problem, it's an excuse for them to go to war.

Some countries start early, some countries start late, and some may never start at all.

Maybe. I wonder if China is going to jump in on the war on Iraq?

If they want to, I mean why not? Any nation could join at any given moment.

You two are over-simplifying it. There is a certain rep that these nations (especially the powerful ones) must keep with the other nations. That is how America has entered all of these wars perfectly. It's either, "The Germans attacked one of our vessels" or, "Saddam is a madman and has WMDs." If a nation just hopped in then there would be political unrest in that country and turmoil across the globe.

When I said hop in, I didn't mean that you can join in just like a video game. All country can create events that will lead them to war just like you said.

To enter a war, it must benefit the country. If you are being invaded, then all you can do is hold out. All wars are the same, Admin. The Holy Wars and the World Wars have no specific point, therefore they cannot be catergorized. It is always a bunch of officials drinking tea and discussing the weather whilst their men die.

It does not have to benefit the country heck Sun Tzu said that no war had benefited anyone before. What war does is to eliminate a threat, you can't call that a benefit.
